Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance (QA). As a QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and implementing test plans, conducting manual and automated testing, and identifying and resolving issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate to kickstart their career in QA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and features.
• Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure overall product quality.
• Execute test cases, document results, and track defects through to resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified and resolved defects do not reoccur.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA-MCA or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
